NIST launches water sector cybersecurity project, calls for stakeholder input

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has issued a draft description of a project on water and wastewater cybersecurity, aiming to spell out common cyber risk scenarios and produce a security practice guide for operators.

The draft project description was released Wednesday by NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence and is open for comment through Dec. 19.
