NIST’s draft Privacy Risk Management Framework relies on innovation to fill gaps in informative references

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is counting on organizations innovating technical solutions to privacy challenges, according to a preliminary draft of the privacy risk management framework released Monday.

Comments on the draft are due Oct. 24, and the agency is hosting a Sep. 17 webinar to answer questions and explain how officials have already incorporated public feedback.
