MITRE, in White House comments, cites role for AI in improving software and hardware security

Driving improvements in software and hardware security and rapidly identifying vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure are among the potential cyber benefits to be derived from artificial intelligence, according to consulting giant MITRE, which says more research is needed into potential cybersecurity roles for AI.
