Measure on staffing National Cyber Director’s office stalls, awaits House return

The House failed to vote on a noncontroversial bill authorizing the new Office of the National Cyber Director to staff up by enlisting detailees from other agencies, with lawmakers dispersing for an August recess before sending the measure to President Biden for his signature.
