Lawmakers, stakeholders offer support for closer scrutiny of foreign investments under ‘CFIUS’ order

The Biden administration’s move to more closely scrutinize cybersecurity aspects of foreign investment in the U.S. is drawing support from cyber leaders on Capitol Hill and in the private sector, who called it a needed step to counter security and technology challenges from China and other adversaries.
