Lawmakers praise cyber elements in NDAA, eye path forward for proposals dropped from defense package

As the annual defense policy bill heads toward final passage in the Senate, lawmakers are highlighting cybersecurity provisions related to CISA and industry that are included in the package and pledging renewed efforts to pass incident reporting legislation aimed at critical infrastructure and other provisions left on the cutting-room floor.
