From key voices on cyber, concerns grow about a shutdown with diverse impacts

The arc of shutdown discussions with key cybersecurity players has gone from mild concern in late December to serious red alerts as the partial government closure heads toward the 21-day mark on Friday.

Said an industry source during the end-of-year holiday season: “Nothing I have heard or read suggests that the shutdown will impact the tri-sector, supply chain, or botnets efforts -- and that’s good.”
