Internet of Things legislation: Stakeholders push to include smartphones as lawmakers struggle to define covered devices

Cybersecurity professionals are drawing attention to what they say is a significant gap in the premier congressional vehicle for securing the “Internet of Things” -- the precise definition of which is the main point of negotiation among lawmakers hoping to move the bill by this fall.
