As intelligence chiefs define 'risk,' government's 'management' effort still in question

The leaders of the nation's intelligence services last week offered a stark picture of the cyber threats facing the nation, but it remains unclear whether the federal government's efforts to counter and manage this risk is effectively aligned.

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and four of his most-senior colleagues in the intelligence community on Feb. 13 presented the latest “Worldwide Threat Assessment” at a public hearing of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
