House votes to over-ride Trump’s defense bill veto, Senate up next on cyber-rich measure

The House has voted to over-ride President Trump’s veto of the fiscal 2021 National Defense Authorization Act, a measure loaded with cybersecurity provisions including recommendations from the Cyberspace Solarium Commission that make this year’s version of the defense policy bill one of the most significant cyber measures ever passed by Congress.

After today’s 322-87 vote, the Senate is expected to consider the motion to over-ride the veto on Tuesday. This would be the first veto over-ride of Trump’s term.
