House Financial Services panel to examine data security offered by cloud providers

Legislation addressing cybersecurity and supply-chain security for credit unions will be on the agenda today as the House Financial Services Committee's artificial intelligence task force holds a hearing on “how financial data is stored, protected, and maintained by cloud providers.”

Paul Benda of the American Bankers Association, Alla Seiffert of the Internet Association, Steve Grobman of McAfee, Jordan Brandt of Inpher and Meredith Broussard of New York University are scheduled to testify at the session.
