House and Senate Homeland Security panels to move forward on CFATS reauthorization

Bipartisan leaders of both the House Homeland Security and the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committees plan to push forward a bill to reauthorize DHS’ Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards, but with some disagreements over how many cyber changes should be made to the existing standards.
