Garbarino named to chair House Homeland cyber panel as GOP fills out subcommittees

New House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) has unveiled the panel’s subcommittee leaders and rosters for the 118th Congress, with Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) tapped to chair the influential cyber subcommittee.

Garbarino, now in his second term in the House, served as cyber subcommittee ranking member in the previous Congress and earned plaudits from industry stakeholders for his bipartisan work on legislation and focus on collaboration over regulation in cybersecurity policy.
