Former FCC security chief Simpson discusses Trump cyber record

After 20 months in the office, the Trump administration's record on cybersecurity is a “mixed bag,” according to former FCC security chief David Simpson, who cited the new “National Cybersecurity Strategy” as a step forward -- with caveats -- while pointing to plenty of unfinished business in areas like consumer data security, privacy, global strategy and other areas.
