First meeting set for CISA cyber advisory body mandated under 2021 defense policy law

The CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, created under the fiscal 2021 National Defense Authorization Act, will hold its first meeting on Dec. 10 to discuss the cyber agency’s “big challenges” and begin mapping out priorities and study topics for the new panel.

The in-person meeting will be held at MITRE’s campus in McLean, VA, according to the Nov. 26 Federal Register notice, and will include a closed session in addition to the public session.
