Financial sector’s Cyber Risk Institute adds security veterans to board of directors

The Cyber Rick Institute has added three financial sector CISOs to its board of directors, as the nonprofit moves toward an update of its own cybersecurity guidance and plays a key role in national cyber initiatives including the NIST “CSF 2.0” process.

The new board members are FirstBank CISO Mark Bruns; PNC CISO Susan Koski; and U.S. banks CISO for Morgan Stanley Karl Schimmeck. They join a board populated with CISOs and other senior security and privacy officials.
