Federal Acquisition Security Council rule sets up process for issuing removal, exclusion orders

The Federal Acquisition Security Council establishes processes in a new interim rule for issuing removal and exclusion orders for untrustworthy products or services on federal systems.

The FASC was established by Congress in the 2018 Federal Acquisition Supply Chain Security Act and a final rule was issued in 2021 to create policies and procedures for the interagency body.
