OMB issues final rule for Federal Acquisition Security Council policies, makes changes to info-sharing structure

The Office of Management and Budget will issue its final rule to create policies and procedures for the Federal Acquisition Security Council in a notice to be published in the Federal Register on Thursday, which makes changes to how information shared with the new interagency council is utilized within the federal government.

The FASC was established by Congress through the SECURE Technology Act of 2018 and is focused on the information and communications technology sector.
