FCC Democrat calls out Trump administration on 5G security, Huawei licensing

The Federal Communications Commission’s senior Democrat is criticizing the Trump administration’s repeated extension of a license for U.S. entities to engage with Huawei, after the Commerce Department put the Chinese telecom on its list of barred entities, saying it painfully demonstrates the lack of a national strategy to secure fifth-generation networks.
