Energy and Commerce panel leaders take issue with banning companies to address supply-chain risks

Improved information sharing -- with related liability protections -- emerged as one way of addressing supply-chain risks without focusing on specific companies or country of origin, during a House Energy and Commerce panel hearing Wednesday where lawmakers and witnesses questioned the effectiveness of another committee's approach to the issue.
