Energy and Commerce members laud agencies’ sector-specific expertise at hearing on critical infrastructure cybersecurity

Republican and Democratic leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee are finding common ground around preserving the cybersecurity role of sector risk management agencies like the Energy Department, EPA and HHS, as the Biden administration considers changes to the Obama-era Presidential Policy Directive 21 that has defined the federal approach to critical infrastructure security.
