Easterly, House Homeland cyber leaders engage on regulatory harmonization and major CISA initiatives

CISA Director Jen Easterly updated members of the House Homeland Security cyber subcommittee on progress in implementing the incident reporting law, including efforts to avoid duplication across agencies, in a wide-ranging hearing that also focused on flagship initiatives such as the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative.

Subcommittee Chairman Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) and ranking member Eric Swalwell (D-CA) also emphasized their commitment to working together to ensure CISA succeeds, despite partisan tensions over other issues at the full committee level.
