DHS convenes series of meetings to establish election-sector cyber coordinating council

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and DHS officials met with state election officials throughout the weekend to establish a Sector Coordinating Council for election security, and to discuss further steps to ensure the security of voting during the upcoming 2018 midterm elections.
