DHS chief Mayorkas helps open Def Con, says bug bounty program will expand to AI

LAS VEGAS. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas helped launched Def Con 2023 today with an announcement that the “Hack DHS” bug bounty program will expand its focus to include artificial intelligence, in an opening speech and onstage conversation with founder Jeff Moss.
