DHS and NIST at work on best practices 'conformance program' for GPS users

A multi-agency effort is underway aimed at getting telecommunications providers and other critical infrastructure users of the Global Positioning System to improve their cybersecurity with the development of a potential “conformance program” for industry's use of best practices, according to government officials working on the project.
