CrowdStrike issues cloud security report, highlights threats from Russian adversaries

A global threat report by CrowdStrike analyzes broad challenges to cloud security while offering details on adversary activities emanating from Russia amid the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

The report, “Protectors of the Cloud: Combating the Rise in Threats to Cloud Environments,” was issued today. It said three areas of concern stand out including “neglected or misconfigured cloud infrastructure”; “lack of outbound restrictions and workload protection”; and “adversaries leveraging loopholes in identity and MFA protection strategies.”
