Consumer, vehicle manufacturing groups discuss privacy controls in NHTSA AV pilot program

The Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is continuing to review comments received last month on its potential “pilot program” for the testing of autonomous vehicles -- with multiple groups focusing on privacy controls -- as DOT looks to advance its self-driving car initiative amid uncertain legislative prospects on the issue.
