Consumer advocate cautions on unintended consequences in global efforts on algorithm disclosure

An effort underway on the sidelines of the World Trade Organization could undermine international agreement on the need to establish accountability around the development of Artificial Intelligence -- technology with major implications for privacy and cybersecurity – according to a leading consumer advocate following the issue.
