Commerce Dept. order could shut ZTE out of U.S. market as FCC votes on supply-chain proposal
The Commerce Department has activated an order that would bar a scrutinized Chinese company from accessing U.S. technologies, a move that comes as the Federal Communications Commission is scheduled to vote today on a separate proposal seeking to ensure public monies don’t go to companies presenting a supply-chain risk.
