Civil society group raises security concerns over General Services Administration’s AI contract announcements

A flurry of General Services Administration agreements with artificial intelligence providers has obscured the risk that AI tools will be installed on federal systems without proper oversight, training or controls, according to the Center of Democracy and Technology, who criticized highly touted, low-cost deals with AI companies announced in recent months.
