CISO Schneider: New acquisition-security council preps for first meeting, to focus on strategy for tech exclusion orders

Federal Chief Information Security Officer Grant Schneider said today that the newly created Federal Acquisition Security Council will meet for the first time “later this month” and is focused on creating a “strategic plan” for excluding or removing technologies that pose cybersecurity risks from federal networks and supply chains.
