CISA and FBI update advisory with new details on malware deployed against targets in Ukraine

CISA and the FBI are offering cyber defenders additional information on five types of destructive malware that have been used against Ukrainian targets amid the Russian invasion of that country.

The updated alert “AA22-057A: Destructive Malware Targeting Organizations in Ukraine” was posted Thursday by CISA and includes “additional indicators of compromise for WhisperGate and technical details for HermeticWiper, IsaacWiper, HermeticWizard, and CaddyWiper destructive malware.”
