Banking group urges SEC to harmonize cyber proposals, an issue flagged by Commissioner Peirce

The Bank Policy Institute is asking the Securities and Exchange Commission to take a closer look at how multiple proposed cybersecurity regulations will work together, while also considering how the new rules could hurt the private sector’s “threat detection and mitigation” efforts.
