Ann Beauchesne, a business leader on cyber, joins Aspen Institute

Ann Beauchesne, one of the key industry players on federal cyber policy development, has been named director of the Aspen Institute's Cybersecurity and Technology Institute.

She joins Aspen from the Ridge Global Cybersecurity Institute, where she was CEO. Before that, she was vice president for cyber at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and participated in development of the NIST framework of cybersecurity standards, cyber education and awareness initiatives, and in pushing for passage of the Cybersecurity Act of 2015.
