Senate clears Krebs as under secretary for DHS NPPD

The Senate approved by voice vote Tuesday night the nomination of Christopher Krebs to be under secretary of the Department of Homeland Security’s cyber-focused National Protection and Programs Directorate.

Krebs, who prior to the Senate vote has served for months as the senior official performing the duties of under secretary for the NPPD, was nominated by President Trump in February.
