Senate Homeland Security panel advances Krebs' NPPD nomination

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Monday approved the nomination of Christopher Krebs for under secretary of the Department of Homeland Security's cyber-focused National Protection and Programs Directorate.

The nomination now goes to the full Senate for a vote, which has yet to be scheduled.
