Software industry cites Privacy Shield as model for upcoming trade talks with EU

The Software and Information Industry Association is urging U.S. officials to follow Privacy Shield as a model in upcoming trade talks with the European Union, as a way to ensure cross-border data flows while complying with varying privacy and security requirements on both sides of the Atlantic.
