Israel to mandate 'certification' in securing supply chain for government, critical industries

BALTIMORE, MD -- The Israeli government will mandate that owners of critical infrastructure, such as financial services, and government agencies be required to purchase IT products and services from “certified” suppliers beginning early next year, in a move intended to raise “basic hygiene” for the internet, according to an official with the Israel National Cyber Directorate.
