DOE cyber office nominee pledges to ‘ensure response plan’ on cyber threats to energy infrastructure

Karen Evans, President Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Energy's newly created Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response, or CESAR, said Tuesday that she plans to “ensure that there is a response plan” to cyber attacks on energy infrastructure, and to look at ways to “make these systems more resilient."
