U.S.-CERT issues warning on malware linked to North Korea

The United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team issued an alert on Tuesday that identifies two types of malware -- Joanap and Brambul -- as linked to the North Korean government.

The U.S.-CERT release notes that the FBI and Department of Homeland Security issued a joint “technical alert” urging network users and administrators to update patches and security software and to scan for suspicious email attachments, among other steps.
