Net-neutrality repeal poses major cyber implications on state enforcement, IoT data protections

Lost in the uproar over the Federal Communications Commission's landmark decision to repeal Obama-era rules for the internet last week are provisions that pose major implications for cybersecurity requirements, by pre-empting state enforcement of consumer protections and prioritizing bandwidth access for emerging Internet of Things products, such as autonomous vehicles.
