White House releases final IT modernization report, prioritizing security and privacy

The White House today unveiled its final IT modernization report, required under President Trump’s May cybersecurity executive order, calling for the prioritization of modernizing “high-risk high value assets” within the federal government to ensure cybersecurity and privacy.

The report comes after the White House sought comments on a draft version released in August. It was drafted by the White House’s American Technology Council.
