House Foreign Affairs panel to mark up bill re-establishing State Dept. cyber office
The House Foreign Affairs Committee is expected on Wednesday to approve a bill offered by its chairman that would re-establish a State Department cyber-coordinator office eliminated by the Trump administration, as well as codify international cybersecurity norms backed by former President Obama, and direct President Trump to develop a cyber strategy that includes an assessment of deterrence measures.
