The executive director of the group tasked with writing standards for information sharing and analysis organizations, or ISAOs, stirred controversy last week when he announced the group is developing a proposal on certifying ISAOs – an issue raised last year when the group was drafting its initial set of guidelines, but dropped amid strong industry pushback.
