DHS announces ban on use of Kaspersky software in federal agencies

Homeland Security Acting Secretary Elaine Duke has issued a directive to federal departments and agencies to identify, remove, and discontinue use of information security products and services supplied by the the Russian cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Lab, DHS announced Wednesday in a press release.
