McCain cyber doctrine finds home in fiscal 2018 defense authorization measure

A long-awaited U.S. cybersecurity “doctrine” proposal from Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain (R-AZ) has been introduced as part of the fiscal 2018 National Defense Authorization Act, according to congressional sources, detailing powers and processes the U.S. can employ to deter and respond to foreign cyber threats.
