Homeland Security Chairman McCaul says House will vote on DHS reauthorization next week

House Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) said today that the House will vote next week on a first-ever Department of Homeland Security reauthorization bill approved last week by his committee on a bipartisan vote.

“We intend to pass on the House next week” legislation that McCaul described as “landmark” to reauthorize DHS for the first time since the department was established in 2002, which includes a number of cybersecurity provisions.
