Sen. Flake offers plan for repealing FCC data rules

As expected, Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) has introduced a proposal for repealing the Federal Communications Commission's broadband data privacy and security rules under the Congressional Review Act.

Flake introduced the resolution Tuesday, on the eve of a Senate Commerce Committee hearing that will include all three members of the FCC, and will likely include a discussion of the broadband rules, among other issues pending before the commissions.
