Industry anticipates FCC suspending implementation of data privacy, security rules

A major coalition of industry groups is asking the new Republican leadership of the Federal Communications Commission to suspend implementation of regulations for securing the personal information of internet consumers approved in the final months of former Chairman Thomas Wheeler's tenure on the commission.
