DHS talks on ISAOs are key to Obama cybersecurity agenda

The Department of Homeland Security hosted a June 9 workshop on developing new cybersecurity information-sharing entities, the success of which is key to implementing President Obama's executive order issued last February.

The Obama order called for the creation of information sharing and analysis organizations, or ISAOs, and the administration expects industry to form more than 200 of these centers during the next several years to facilitate exchanging cyber-threat data.
